PURPOSE:To easily open/close and mount/demount a socket cover. CONSTITUTION:A lamp socket in which a straight fluorescent lamp is mounted is covered with a socket cover in a freely open/close manner. The socket cover 15 is provided with a pair of slidable pawls 36 and slidable grooves 38 on both sides. Each slidable pawl 36 has a slant slide-contact face 36a on the outside face. A cover board 14 mounted on a luminaire mainbody is provided with a pair of guide ribs 22 for the slidable grooves 38 to be fitted thereto in a slidable manner. Each guide rib 22 is provided with a slant guide face 28 put in slide contact with the slide pawl 36 and a protruded stop face 26 put in slide contact with the slidable pawl 36. In this way, the slide contact face 36a of the slidable pawl 36 is aligned to the socket cover 15 to be thrusted to the cover board 14 side so that the slidable grooves 38 can be engaged with the guide ribs 22. |
