A diaphragm valve of an ink feed unit for an ink jet recorder, comprising a thin wall part supported on a valve seat component member through a thick wall part at the outer peripheral part thereof and an ink circulating port positioned at the center of the thin wall part, the ink circulating port coming in contact with and being deparated from a valve seat (13) in response to an ink pressure difference, wherein a bent part is formed in the center area (7) of a diaphragm part (2) so as to be concentric to the ink circulating port for providing an elasticity, whereby the effect caused when the thick wall part at the outer peripheral part is injection-molded is eliminated to be applied onto the elasticity of the diaphragm valve.
