Special paint for absorption of typical indoor pollutants is obtained by applying an aqueous mixture of organophilic bentonite or of zeolites and silica gel in 10:25:1 ratio to walls and drying in air. In this form, it develops a long-term effect towards organic solvents, molds, pyrethroids, phthalates, formaldehyde etc. and atmospheric humidity has no significant effect on absorption.
