A diagnostic X-ray measuring apparatus having a high spatial resolution and a high sensitivity. The X-ray measuring apparatus comprises an X-ray source for emitting X-rays from an X-ray focal point, an X-ray sensor in which a plurality of sensing elements each having a blind part and a sensitive part encompassed by the blind part are two-dimensionally arrayed, data processing means for collecting the output signals of the sensing elements and for data-processing the same, an X-ray grid arranged between the X-ray focal point and the X-ray sensor at a predetermined distance from the X-ray focal point and having X-ray transmissive members and X-ray blocking members arrayed alternately in a first direction. The period of a linear projected image of the X-ray blocking members projected by X-rays on the sensing surface of the X-ray sensor in the first direction is an integral multiple of twice or more of the period of the array of the sensing elements substantially in the first direction, thereby forming an image of a large field of view without any moire.
