<p>The present invention provides an oil-in-water wax dispersion comprising one or more waxes or hydrophobic semi-solids, a dispersion initiator, optionally oen or more plasticizing agents or solvents and/or co-solvents, and water. The invention also provides a method for preparing these oil-in-water wax dispersions and their use in topical, oral anal, ophthalmic, vaginal, otic and nasal formulations.</p> |
