发明名称 METHOD FOR ALLOCATING DATA LINK CONNECTION IDENTIFIER IN CODE DIVISION MULTIPLE ACCESS EXCHANGER
摘要 PURPOSE: A method for allocating a data link connection identifier(DLCI) in a code division multiple access(CDMA) exchanger is provided so that radio data calls can be easily distinguished by dynamically allocating a DLCI value to a time slot performing an actual call in an upper layer 3 when the CDMA exchanger interfaces with an inter working function(IWF), and that memory resources can be saved by equalizing the DLCI value and a call reference(CR) value. CONSTITUTION: A DLCI value is confirmed by using a busy counter(S1). The busy counter serves to count a number of the currently-allocated DLCI values. When an effective DLCI value exists, a tpDLCI value is reset as an idleDLCINumber value, and a loop counter which is a loop invariant is reset(S2). The initial DLCI value is searched in values of 16 to 991 which are regions allocated for frame relay access(S3). Thereafter, whether the searched value is the effective DLCI value or idle DLCI value whose loop counter value exceeds 1024 is confirmed(S4). When the searched value is the idle DLCI value, the idle DLCI value is stored in tpDLCI, a state of the value is converted into busy, and the busy counter is increased(S5). When the DLCI value does not exist in S1 or when the searched value is the effective DLCI value, '-1' is stored in the tpDLCI. An upper layer 3 uses a CR value identical to the DLCI value.
