PURPOSE: A method for reporting call information at an SSF(Service Switching Function) in a CS(Capability Set)-2 switching system is provided to report call information for each leg. CONSTITUTION: If a CCF(Call Control Function) provides a primary DP(Detection Point) to an SSF, the SSF enters a wait instruction state after providing an initial DP to an SCF(Service Control Function). At this moment, the SCF requests the SSF to send call information and RRBEs(Request Report BCSM events) by legs. In other words, when the SCF requests the SSF to provide call information for legs 1 and 2, the SCF requests the SSF to send a call information request(leg1), a call information request(leg2), an RRBE(leg1 DP9) and an RRBE(leg2 DP9). The SSF, receiving call information requests by legs, stores leg IDs in a leg information storage field and information for the call information request in an information request information storage field. After processing various requests from the SCF, the SSF enters a monitoring state.
