Process for preparing polymerizable coating or moulding compositions

A process (P) of producing polymerizable coating or molding compositions (I) comprises: (a) reacting a dienophile with unsaturated triglycerides in a vegetable oil to from (A); and (b) adding a polycondensate compound selected from polyols, epoxides and diamines, having at least two functional group capable of reacting with (A). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a composition of type (I) having a viscosity of 2-5 Pa.s; (2) a process comprising coating a substrate with (1), and curing the composition; and (3) a thermoformable automobile carpeting produced by (2).
