Method of producing self-cleaning property of ceramic surfaces and ceramic body

Production of a self-cleaning property of ceramic surfaces comprises applying powder particles to the surfaces, temporarily adhering, heating to a temperature at which the particles bond with the surfaces and permanently adhering to the surfaces. An Independent claim is also included for a ceramic body having powder particles adhered to its surface. Preferred Features: The ceramic surfaces are made water-repellant after the powder particles have been permanently applied.
