PURPOSE: A device and a method for removing humidity of a sintered ore material are provided to simply remove humidity by vaporizing the humidity using microwave. CONSTITUTION: A device for removing humidity of a sintered ore material comprises multiple metal stick members(110) and a microwave oscillation unit(120). The metal stick members have a certain length along a travelling direction of a trolley of a sintering machine. And the metal stick members are located in the top of the trolley of the sintering machine so that at least one ends of the metal stick members are covered by sintered ore materials(10). The microwave oscillation unit is connected to the other ends of the metal stick members, and irradiates microwave to the sintered ore materials through the metal stick members.
