PURPOSE: To provide a method for cancer thermotherapy capable of effectively performing the thermotherapy against cancer in a human body by heating the depth of the human body effectively. CONSTITUTION: Prescribed high-frequency oscillation is introduced to a resonator 1 and resonates with an exciting mode of fixed intensity in the longitudinal direction of the resonator 1. Next, the human body 3 is arranged so that the body axial direction 4 of the human body 3 may coincide with the longitudinal direction of the resonator on a table 2 in the resonator. Then, the high-frequency resonance is applied to the depth of the human body 3.
