PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open type disposable wear of which a fastening member is prevented from being inadvertently engaged with a place other than a fastened area and from damaging a sheet. SOLUTION: With the open type disposable wear 1, a fastening member 5 connected to a front and a rear waistline areas 20, 22 is fitted to both side edge parts 1a of the rear waistline area 22 at a part contacting the skin, and an area of fastening for fastening the fastening member 5 for free unfastening is formed at a part of the front waistline area 20 not contacting the skin. A coating part covering the outside face of the fastening member 5 is extended inward toward lateral direction of the wear 1 from the both side edge parts 1a continuing from the both side edge parts 1a of the rear waistline area 22 located outside the fastening member 5.
