PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure strength without a center cross bar, reduce weight, and improve sitting comfortableness. SOLUTION: In a lower frame 11, a lower frame bottom 13 and right and left lower frame sides 14, 15 are formed substantially in U-shape, and in an upper frame 12, an upper frame top 16 and right and left upper frame sides 17, 18 are formed substantially in inverted-U shape. The lower ends 21, 22 of the right and left upper frame sides 17, 18 are connected to the upper ends 19, 20 of the right and left lower frame sides 14, 15 by a reclining device 23 and a free hinge 24. A backward tilting stopper 25 swingably assembled to the top of the lower frame 11 is projected in front of the upper end 19 of the lower frame side 14 in the rocking range of the lower end 21 of the upper frame side 17 on the free hinge 24 side, and fixedly supported on the upper end 19 of the lower frame side 14.
