PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eco-friendly biodegradable hollow mannequin molded of blow molding, light in weight, easy of handling, durable for long-term use, and recyclable ecologically. SOLUTION: A material for this biodegradable hollow mannequin is a polylactic acid resin pellet, a resin A pellet prepared by compounding 100 pts.wt. polylactic acid with <=300 pts.wt. another biodegradable aliphatic polyester, or a resin B pellet prepared by compounding 100 pts.wt. polylactic acid with <=100 pts.wt. starch. The material is dried at a low temperature below a glass transition temperature specific to the polylactic acid resin until its water content is adjusted to 10-200 ppm, and then, molded at an air pressure of 0.5-6.0 kg/m2 by blow molding into a desired shape, and consequently, the hollow mannequin 10 with a mean thickness of 0.2-2.5 mm is provided.
