PURPOSE: A method for automatically controlling or transferring a metal mold is provided to punch a mold by moving or stopping the mold and to control the mold by recognizing a post processing position without regarding size of the processing product. CONSTITUTION: A method for automatically controlling or transferring a metal mold comprises a conveyor belt transferring processing product; a processing product position recognizing sensing unit(300); a motor(310) having an encoder; a small gear(320) formed on a shaft of the motor; a large gear(330) geared with the small gear; a horizontal screw bar(340) rotated by driving the motor; an optical sensor(350); and a horizontal guiding bar(360) formed on a rear side to safely move the optical sensor. Thereby, the method for automatically controlling or transmitting the mold punches the mold by moving or stopping the mold. Moreover, the method for automatically controlling or transmitting the mold controls the mold by recognizing a post processing position without regarding size of the processing product.
