<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an oxide dispersion reinforced platinum material with a further improved creep strength characteristic capable of more finely dispersing zirconium oxide in a platinum material. SOLUTION: This production method for an oxide dispersion reinforced platinum material in which zirconium oxide is finely dispersed in platinum comprises charging a powdered platinum into water to make a platinum slurry, mixing the solutions of zirconium nitrate and urea with the platinum slurry, precipitating zirconium hydroxide by adjusting pH at a prescribed value to form a zirconium hydroxide-carrying platinum, recovering the zirconium hydroxide-carrying platinum to form a formed body, sintering and forging the resulting formed body under such a condition that a secondary recrystallization growth of platinum crystals progresses to form a platinum ingot, cold rolling the platinum ingot in a machining rate of more than 70%, and then heat treating the cold rolled platinum for recrystallization.</p> |
