PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized light weight base separation type band transfer which can be easily operated by an operator and be driven at a high speed. SOLUTION: A band transfer is provide with a band drum 55 to form a band, a pair of band holders 65 to hold both ends of the band, a bead lock drum 75 to fold the band around a bead, a pair of bead setters 61 to adjust width of beads, a first separation type base 65 to support the pair of band holders, a second separation type base 61a to support the pair of bead setters and a common transfer base 67a which not only movably supports and guides each of the first and second separation type bases but movably supports and guides the band transfer.
