LIGHTNING STRIKE DETECTION An aircraft (110) includes a composite structure and a plurality of small lightweight pollable communication devices (220) for providing lightning strike detection coverage of a region of the structure. Each device (220) is rendered inoperative if at least proximate to lightning current.
