PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a private sewage treatment tank the maintenance/control of which can be facilitated and the size of which can be reduced, without using any filter medium in a sludge storage vessel. SOLUTION: This sewage treatment tank 1 is provided with: a sludge storage vessel 2 having a flow rate adjustment section 22 for receiving inflow wastewater and transferring sewage; and an aeration vessel 3 for subjecting the sewage transferred from the sewage storage vessel 2 to aeration treatment; wherein a sludge separation vessel 6 for separating sludge, is placed on the downstream side of the sludge storage vessel 2 and in the sludge separation vessel 6, sludge is separated and removed from the introduced sewage and the resulting sewage is transferred to the aeration vessel 3.
