PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a heat sensitive recording material having a little skin fog, high sensitivity and excellent image preservability. SOLUTION: In the heat sensitive recording material comprising a heat sensitive color developing layer containing a normally colorless or pale color developable compound, a developable compound capable of color developing the developable compound at a heating time and a sensitizer as main components and provided on a support, the color developing layer contains as the developable compound a bis(3-aryl-4-hydroxyphenyl)sulfone, as the sensitizer a 1,2-bis(phenoxymethyl)benzene and further a water soluble zirconium compound. |
