PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific method for continuously carrying passengers by using a technique for an elevator. SOLUTION: A rotating type passenger carrier device (20) includes a center rotating post (22) for driving some cages (26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40) with a shaft as a center. The cages (26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40) are made movable along the shaft between a first floor (24) and a second floor (25). The center post (22) is continuously rotated and the cages (26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40) are periodically moved between the two floors (24) and (25). When a passenger gets on the cage on the one floor and the cage is rotated to a moving area. The cage is moved up to the other floor in the moving area. The flow of passengers in this device is continuous and thereby carrying capability of passengers in the rotating passenger carrier device is close to that of an escalator device rather than the elevator. |
