VACUUM CHAMBER FOR ACCELERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum chamber for accelerator capable of being manufactured with using an electron beam welding device. SOLUTION: A beam chamber constituent member 22 is formed out of a oxygen free copper so that no turbulence is given to electron beam e traveling in a beam chamber 21, and a chamber shell 25 surrounding the member 22 in the circumferential direction in such a way as forming a pump chamber 23 on one side of the member 22 and a light receiving chamber 24 on the other side is formed out of an aluminum alloy admitting extrusion molding process or stainless steel admitting mutual joining of members by TIG welding, and thereby electron beam welding in the chamber longitudinal direction is eliminated otherwise required to connect the members with each other.
