PURPOSE:To increase the illuminance by furnishing a pair of reflex surfaces to reflect the light from a light source in the horizontal direction left and right with its axis of symmetricity identical to a vertical line passing the light axis on the oversurface and undersurface of a square headlight. CONSTITUTION:An oversurface aid reflex mirror 6 is furnished through utilization of a lighting fixture 1 for car, while an undersurface aid reflex mirror 8 installed through utilization of the undersurface 7. The illuminance characteristic of headlight 1 for car is made approx 50% brighter at the side edge (40-55 deg.) by furnishing these two aid reflex mirrors 6, 8 to perform reflection in the horizontal direction left and right. At this time, the lens 4 does not particularly require a lens cut process with annexation of this type of aid reflex mirror taken into consideration. Thereby the light amount is increased by the aid reflex mirrors annexed on the oversurface and undersurface which have been invalidified, which would enhance the illuminance of this square type headlight. |
