PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze facsimile communication efficiently and at lower cost, even if recorded facsimile communication is performed by nonstandard procedures. SOLUTION: This communication speed of a modem portion 18 is set to the standard speed of phase B, and then playback of a DVD media with a DVD recorder/player 4 is started. When the playback is started, an NSS which phase B of facsimile procedures contains is investigated. Since the sequence is unknown if a maker code obtained from the NSS is not registered in a maker code table, cutting off of a CD signal from the modem portion 18 is waited. The modem portion 18 cannot demodulate a modem signal, and becomes unable to output a demodulated signal. Namely, synchronization becomes impossible. So it is judged that, if the CD signal is cut off, training has started at that point of time. Consequently, it becomes possible to detect the start of training by facsimile communication whose sequence is unknown. |
