PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver capable of simultaneously receiving and recording plural TS streams. SOLUTION: This digital broadcast receiver is provided with digital tuners 2011 and 2012, a TS stream changeover switch 202 for operating the assignment of a TS stream, a de-multiplexer 203 for separating the multiplexed TS streams, partial TS generating PID filters 2061 and 2062 for generating partial TS through PID filters in the TS streams, a cache memory CM for temporarily storing the output data of the partial TS generating PID filters 2061 and 2062, an HDD recording/reproduction control unit 207 for controlling the recording operation and reproducing operation of the HDD storage device 208 for recording the TS stream, and a microprocessor 209 for controlling each constitution of the digital broadcast receiver 100.
