PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display element with which the decorativeness of a screen can be diversified. SOLUTION: A dot array type color filter 10 arranging colored dots 12 of a plurality of colors, for example of the blue and red, by a prescribed arrangement pattern is provided while making it correspond to at least a prescribed region of the screen. Light of a single color or mixed color having a hue correspondent to the ratio of the color of a plurality of colored dots 12 of a unit region and the number of dots of each color is emitted to each unit region in which a plurality of colored dots 12 of the dot array type color filter 10 are arranged. A colorful pattern in which the hue of each unit region changes according to the color of a plurality of colored dots 12 and the ratio of the number of dots of and each color, is formed in the region corresponding to the dot array type color filter 10 of the screen. |
