The door stop system comprises a metal case (30) which is welded in two parts (1,2) the base of which acts as a fixing plate has a retaining boss (4) and a braking boss (6). A door finger (31) has two arms (11,12) and the articulation of the lower arm occurs by deformation of the material about a cut-out (15). An elastomer spring (14) is inserted between two jaws (13) and opposes their retightening producing friction on the internal surfaces of the case. A spring part (17) which emerges in front of the jaws acts as a travel end stop.
