PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase lock loop that can utilize a phase detector that can supply various kinds of control voltages. SOLUTION: This phase lock loop includes an oscillator that generates a clock signal requiring a control signal having a given bias voltage, an integrator that outputs the control signal, an external synchronous signal source, first and second voltage sources that determine potential related to the bias voltage, a first switch that is connected to the first and second voltage sources, responds to the clock signal, and outputs a reproduction clock signal having a peak-to- peak voltage that is determined by the potential, and a second switch that responds to the external synchronous signal and periodically samples one portion of the reproduction clock signal for giving to the integrator. One sampled portion charges and discharges the integrator, and generates the control signal having sufficient size for generating the bias voltage. The first and second switches form the phase detector. |
