<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide power saving without impairing the operability of a portable information processing unit equipped with an input section such as a keyboard by solving the problem of short available time of a battery when the battery is working. SOLUTION: The first processing block 1 is prepared connecting to an information input block 97 including a keyboard 201, and is connected to a second processing block 98 connected to a display section 2 that has the memory effects. Responding to the input by the keyboard and such like, a first processing block 1 activates the second processing block 98 in halt condition, and halts the supply of power or operation after changing of display in the display section 2. At this time, the memory effects maintain the display of the display section 2, and an information processing unit with significant reduction of power consumption is provided without impairing of display characteristics of the display section 2.</p> |
