<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for an electrical part allowing use by the same guide member even if electric parts have different number of terminal arrangement rows. SOLUTION: In an IC socket 11 as toy 'socket for electric part' in which a plurality of contact pins in contact with solder balls of an IC package are arranged like a lattice in a socket body storing the IC package which is the 'electrical part' and a guide member 20 guiding a peripheral fringe part of the IC package to arrange it at a predetermined position is arranged in the socket body, the guide member 20 is constituted such that it has a storage space 20a in which the IC package is inserted and guided to attach it by changing an assembly position by 180 deg. between a first mounting position and a second mounting position for the socket body, and a position of the storage space for a range P of arrangement of a plurality of contact pins 15 on a socket body side can be changed by changing the assembly position of the guide member 20.</p> |
