DYNAMIC MULTICAST TRANSMITTING APPARATUS, AND ITS TRANSMISSION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic multicast transmitting apparatus that can optionally select a destination device of multicast transmission so as to enhance the communication efficiency. SOLUTION: A transmission medium 2 interconnects a transmission controller 1 for transmitting real data and transmission receivers 3a-3x that receive the real data. The transmission controller 1 transmits control data required for receiving the real data to the transmission receivers 3a-3x via the transmission medium 2. The control data required for receiving the real data individualizes a group of the transmission receivers to receive the real data among the transmission receivers. This individualization permits execution of multicasting only to the selected transmission receivers. The controller 1 can freely select the transmission receivers through the transmission of the control data. The transmission medium 2 consists of a real data transmission medium 2a for transmitting the real data and a control data transmission medium 2b for transmitting the control data so as to easily select a plurality of groups to receive the real data.
