PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio broadcast receiver that suppresses a sound volume change of a program, when the program broadcast is switched and received by digital audio broadcasting into the same program broadcast by FM broadcasting. SOLUTION: A memory stores cross-reference data, consisting of an identifier relating, to each transmitter for digital audio broadcast and of a correction amount in cross-reference with the identifier, and when a received program is switched from the digital audio broadcasting into an FM broadcast broadcasting the same program contents, the correction amount in cross-reference with the transmitter identifier of the digital audio broadcast is read from the cross- reference data, and the amplification factor of an FM audio signal is corrected depending on the read correction amount so as to reduce the level difference of an audio output, between the digital audio broadcast and the FM broadcast.
