PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the influence of a change in contents and/or size of an image by improving a printer 1 which has at least one printing mechanism 2 and transfers an image 5 to a member 4 in such a manner that an image drum 3 of the printing mechanism 2 is driven by friction of the member 4 with the drum 3. SOLUTION: The width 6 and 6' of the image drum 3 and the member 4, respectively, are set greater than the maximum width 7 of the image 5 to be transferred so as to keep the rotation speed 8 of the image drum 3 almost constant when an image 7' is changed. |
