PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal generating device that eliminates the need for an orthogonal modulator. SOLUTION: A QAM mapping means (10) assigns information signals to be sent onto QAM planes as signal point information. With respect to the QAM signal point information, an orthogonal multi-carrier signal point generating means (11) generates signal point information where the signals of a real part are in even symmetry and the signals in an imaginary part are in odd symmetry in the Nyquist frequency of an IFFT, the IFFT (12) applies inverse Fourier transform to the generated information, and the signal of only the real part component is obtained from the IFFT. The orthogonal frequency division multiplex signal generator is configured in which an orthogonal modulator at its next stage is not required.
