PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band pass filter that can easily be manufactured and downsized with a low loss and an excellent spurious characteristic. SOLUTION: The band pass filter consists of an input output section 110 comprising a square waveguide and of a resonance section 120 comprising a cavity resonator 121, a 1/4 wavelength semi-coaxial resonator 122 and a dielectric resonator 123. The width and the height of the square waveguide are respectively a1, b1 (a1>b1), and the width and the height of the 1/4 wavelength semi- coaxial resonator 122 are respectively a2, b2, where a relation of a1>a2 and b1>=b2 holds.
