PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impensive connector with a shield of between terminals and to provide a connector unit therefor. SOLUTION: In the connector unit 10, a shield plate 11 is provided with a contact connected with the intermediate part of at least one of contacts 13-17, and at least one terminal part 11c connected to an external board. The shield plate 11 covers at least one part of the intermediate part of the contacts 13-17 and integrally formed with the contacts 13-17 by molding-in in a connected state with at least the one of the contacts 13-17. The thickness of an insulator at the covered part of the intermediate part of the contacts by the shield plate 11 is formed thinner than other parts, so that when plural connector units 10 are disposed side by side, impedance is adjusted by producing a gap between an adjacent unit and themselves.
