PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display operating states of actual trains correctly and with satisfactory visibility to users and also to reduce operating cost by controlling the lighting of departure time display boards expressing departure times of trains in accordance with operating states of the trains. SOLUTION: When PC 32a, PC 32b of respective controllers 12a, 12b of respective stations receive train information supplied from an operation management device 16, the PC 32a, PC 32b transmit display data of LED(light emitting diode) displays 38, 40, 42 which electrically illuminate departure time display boards installed on respective platforms of stations based on the train information via distributors 36a, 36b. Thus, it is possible to display the departure display boards in a way easily recognizable with lighted states or classification of color by lighting, putting out or flickering respective LED elements arranged in the pertinent time zones of the departure time display boards or by controlling the lighting of LED elements whose color are different by time zones, in accordance with actual operations.
