PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data managing device capable of searching plural kinds of data the contents of which are possible to be dynamically changed according to prescribed ordinal property at high speed. SOLUTION: The plural kinds of data are recorded in a data file 21 according to the prescribed ordinal property. In addition, conditions to judge whether or not data in the data file is dynamically changed are prescribed in an item condition table 23. A main control part 1 specifies a point of time where the contents of the data are dynamically changed by judging the conditions prescribed in the item condition table 23 about the data in the data file 21 and records a dynamic change bit to indicate the specified point of time in a dynamic change index file 24 by associating the bit with the data. The applicable data is retrieved from the data file 21 by referring to the dynamic change bit in the case of retrieval.
