PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which is capable of recovering adhered carrier again into a developer carrying member, is capable of forming good images free of surface staining by preventing an increase of toner concentration and can more surely recover the adhered carrier into the developer carrying member and an image forming device. SOLUTION: This developing device controls the toner concentration by changing the contact state of a two-component developer 3 and toners 11a by a change in the toner concentration on the developer carrying member 4 and changing the state of capturing the toners 11a of the developer 3 on the developer carrying member 4. The developing device, which rotates both or either one of a photoreceptor 1 and the developer carrying member 4 in the directions a' and b' opposite to the rotating direction in printing operation when the printing operation is prepared or started, is provided. Further, the image forming device uses this developing device. |
