PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a power supply from short-circuited output, more surely and easily. SOLUTION: Plug insertion is confirmed at the jack 30 for outputting power from the power supply 10. When no inserted plug is detected in the jack 30, power is cut off to the jack 30, by turning off a transistor 22 using a transistor 25 connected to the switch terminal 33.
