PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide synchronous reproduction between input/output processes by eliminating a response time lag between the input/output processes at reverse reproduction. SOLUTION: A CPU 53 is provided to each of a plurality of reproduction ports 20, 30, and 40 in an A/V server. The CPU 53 limits a reproduction speed when a reproduction position exceeds a specified threshold, according to a reverse reproduction speed and the data amount in reverse reproduction direction stored in buffers 23, 33, and 43 when a data stored in the buffers 23, 33, and 43, in which the data read out of HDDs 1201, 1202,..., 120n-3, 120n-2, 120n-1, and 120n is reproduced in reverse direction.
