PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser drive circuit which can suppress the current ringing of a semiconductor laser drive current, and to provide an image forming device using this semiconductor laser drive circuit. SOLUTION: Ten laser drive current generating circuits (a) to (j), which have respectively a delay means, are combined with each other as shown in the diagram, the output ends of the circuits are divided into two groups, and the two groups are respectively connected with a semiconductor laser LD via terminals IPA and IPB.
