PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible to fully achieve performance at the time of executing simulation when software being verification data is increased in a method for performing the cooperative verification of hardware/ software. SOLUTION: In this method for generating verification data for performing the cooperative verification of hardware/software, a function label and verification data corresponding to the operation of each task of software or the operation of each condition are made correspond to each other, and the software is subdivided as plural functions. The verification data are generated from the corresponding relation by using the function label as a key.
