PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a magnetic recording medium for a flexible disk having smooth surface property, high heat resistance and little warpage with high productivity. SOLUTION: Two heat-resistant resin films F1 and one thermoplastic resin film F2 are traveled in one vacuum vessel and after the heat-resistant resin films F1 are baked, the heat-resistant resin films F1 are laminated on both surfaces of the thermoplastic resin film F2 and heated and laminated by laminate rolls 51, 52 so that films are laminated by melting the thermoplastic resin film F2 to form a supporting body F. Then, ferromagnetic metal thin films are formed by the method of vacuum film formation on both surfaces of the supporting body F.
