<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the display direction (erecting state or inverted state) of a screen to be displayed on a display device at a high operability. SOLUTION: A direction code file 24 sets whether the screen is to be displayed in the erecting state or the inverted state in accordance with each screen. A screen table 21 stores the address of the current screen, a shift pointer that is shiftable as the next screen, the current screen code and a current direction code. A main control part 1 sets a screen address, the shift pointer, a screen code and a direction code instructed to be shifted according to a screen shift instruction from an operator through an input device 4 in the table 21 and displays a new screen on the display device 5 in a display direction set in the direction code.</p> |
