PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device difficult to be affected by an influence of a disturbance light. SOLUTION: The imaging device comprises a pulse illumination optical system 12 for illuminating an object 1 to be imaged only for a first predetermined time t1; an exposure optical system 11 for exposing only for a second predetermined time t2 including the time t1, and exposing only for a third predetermined time t3 set substantially equal to the second time t2 of a period out of the illumination by the system 12; and an image processing means 14 for forming a first image during exposure of the second time t2, forming a second image during exposure of the third time t3, and forming a differential image of the first image and the second image. Since the differential image is formed, an influence of the disturbance light is excluded.
