PURPOSE: A chain holder apparatus for connecting rotation rolls is provided which controls tensions of upper and lower chains all together so that rotation rolls such as hearth rolls are smoothly rotated in the state that each of the rotation rolls have the same rotation amount, and the action is simply conducted by an electric motor. CONSTITUTION: The chain holder apparatus for connecting rotation rolls is characterized in that a pair of first and second link bars(11,12) and a pair of third and fourth link bars(13,14) forming pairs by being fixed parallel to each other through the medium of a supporting stand(20) are rotationally and symmetrically mounted on facility frames of the upper part of the upper chain(114) and the lower part of the lower chain(128) through the medium of pins(16), the end parts of connection bars(26,27) which are connected through the medium of pins so that the center part of the connection bars(26,27) are rotated are connected to each of the pairs of the link bars(11,12,13,14) with pins, female screw members are mounted on left and right side screw parts having different directions of a screw axis(30) which is mounted on the facility frames so as to receive rotation power from a driving motor(36) by being positioned so that the screw axis(30) has the same direction as a proceeding direction of the chains, each of the female screw members are inserted into circular arc shaped guiding holes at the side of the connection bars(26,27) by forming supporting axes, and holder rolls(22) and grip rolls(24) which are parallel to each other and placed at the upper and lower parts of the chains are idly mounted on the end parts of each of the pairs of the link bars(11,12,13,14).
