METHOD FOR SERVICING PERIODIC OPTIMUM PATH

PURPOSE: A method for servicing a periodic optimum path is provided to secure easily a probe vehicle providing original data for constructing traffic information by providing user position information to a traffic information system. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal(11) requests an optimum path from a starting point to a destination for a traffic information system(13) through a wireless network(12). The traffic information system calculates plural optimum paths and required time from the corresponding starting point to the destination and transmit it to the user terminal(11) through the wireless network(12). The user terminal(11) displays the received optimum paths and required time and makes a user select one optimum path according to his/her own experience. The user terminal(11) notifies the optimum path selected by the user to the traffic information system(13) through the wireless network(12). The traffic information system(12) matches the corresponding selected optimum path with member information and stores it to a database. The user terminal(11) notifies to the traffic information system(13) information that the user starts now or after a few minutes through the wireless network(12). The traffic information system(13) matches the corresponding information with the member information and stores it to the database. The traffic information system(13) receives position data from the user terminal(11) and monitors the present position of the user by mean of a position chase system(14) and confirms that the user arrives at the destination.
