PURPOSE: A method for retrieving a virus is provided to retrieve the virus for an operating program, an application program, and stored resources at a retrieval server. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal(110) of a subscriber requests a remote virus retrieval service to a remote virus retrieval server(120,11). The mobile communication terminal(110) transmits to the remote virus retrieval server(120) a system file and data such as an operation program and an application program. The remote virus retrieval server(120) retrieves the virus and downloads to the mobile communication terminal(110) the corresponding system file and data with a virus check result(12). In case that the subscriber retrieves remotely the virus in a data area(132) stored in a data center(130), the mobile communication terminal(110) of the subscriber issues the certificate of authentication of a remote virus retrieval servicing subscriber, transmits it to the remote virus retrieval server(120), and requests the remote virus retrieval service(13). The remote virus retrieval server(120) transmits the certificate of authentication to a subscriber certification module(131) of the data center(14). The remote virus retrieval server(120) retrieves the virus of the data provided on the corresponding subscriber area(132) of the data center(130) and stores again the corresponding data to the corresponding subscriber data area(132) of the data center(130)(15). The remote virus retrieval server(120) transmits to the mobile communication terminal(110) the virus check result for the subscriber data area(132).
