Links are formed from threads of different colors or kinds in accordance with needle selection program and pattern configuration. Jacquard weave fabric has rows of links made from thread of one color, arranged between jacquard link rows and forming main weave. Method allows three or four colored jacquard patterns to be produced. EFFECT: increased efficiency and provision for producing fabrics with wider range of patterns. 4 dwg
